Aperam South America is part of the Aperam Group. It is the sole integrated producer of flat stainless and electrical steels in Latin America. Produz também aços planos ao carbono ligados. Its industrial plant is located in Timóteo, Minas Gerais state. Roads and railways connect the plant to major steel consumer centers in Latin America and to export ports. It has a commercial office in São Paulo and an international logistics office in Rio de Janeiro, associated to a network of distributors and service centers throughout Brazil.
