External areas such as façades are to be cleaned on the same frequency as the windows. The frequency depends on the amount of type of dirt to which the material is exposed. Routine cleaning, taking place between 6 to 12 months shall suffice to remove light dirt; more severe environments (such as industrial and coast atmospheres) demand shorter intervals, from 3 to 6 months. Remember that rain is a great allied when it comes to stainless steel cleaning, particularly when used on unsheltered areas, e.g. façades. Depending on the angle of installation, rain plays a leading role as regards removal of dirt and debris, at the same time preserving the aesthetic characteristics of the material for a long time. As for its use indoors, it shall be handled as part of the routine cleaning of the relevant place, i.e., it has to be cleaned before showing signs of dirt build-up or finger stains.
