Stainless steel, besides being elegant and resistant, is an easily maintained material. By means of an adequate maintenance, it is possible to preserve its original characteristics unchanged for a long period.
In the routine-based cleaning, stainless steel’s best friends are soap, soft and/or neutral detergents and ammonia solutions (household removers) diluted in warm water. Apply the material with a soft cloth or thin nylon sponge, abundantly rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
For regular maintenance of stainless steel products, always try to use the lightest cleaning method possible; be patient before rushing to more aggressive procedures; repeat the operation a reasonable number of times. Never use steel wool as it can leave residues on the stainless steel surface, thus compromising its resistance to corrosion.
