GO electrical steels
GO electrical steels were developed to achieve low core loss and high magnetic permeability.
Its main feature is to present excellent magnetic properties in the rolling direction.
They are basically used for manufacturing cores for power and distribution transformers, as well as power reactors, hydro generators and turbo generators.

Technical specifications
GO electrical steel has C5 coating (ASTM standard) as surface finishing and the product can be supplied as coils or strips, according to international standards.
The core loss upper and lower values are related to the fully processed product, tested after annealing, for relieving the stresses incurred from cutting process, in samples cut in the rolling direction. The user has to specify only one condition for induction and frequency to guarantee maximum core loss. If not specified, core loss value will be provided at 1.5 T and 60 Hz.
