Climate management

Since 1995, the Climate Survey is carried out at Aperam South America. It is a powerful tool for identifying the collective perception employees have about some factors that affect internal satisfaction and environment. Based on the results generated, the Company identifies points to be developed. And each department is responsible for developing action plans, aiming to raise the level of positive perception of the organizational climate.

 

QCC – Quality Control Circles

Implanted in 1983, the program is a powerful tool to take the most from employees’ creative potential. Through QCC groups and voluntary participation, Aperam South America opens room for discussion on technical problems and creates opportunities for solutions and process improvement. In addition to professional and personal growth, QCC program gives the employees the opportunity to have their ideas shared and used within the Company.

Cosis – Semestrial Internal Symposium

Created in 1971, the Internal Symposiums offer opportunities for all employees, regardless of hierarchical level, to present technical papers. The program creates a favorable environment for the continuous professional improvement and for the Company’s performance enhancement as regards quality, productivity, product development, process, equipment and new methods.

 

"Conviver" Project (Integration)

These are actions to promote integration between the employees and their families, such as: employees’ birthday, Jubilee (tribute to employees who complete 10, 20 and 30 years working at the Company), year-end party and JOIA – Internal Sports Competition of Aperam South America, among others.

PME – Goals Plan per Team

The objective of the Goals Plan per Team is to recognize the collective effort and encourage everyone to take part in achieving the results. It is not just another way of reward the employee, but it is also about seeking a more advanced level in the relationship Company/Employee and confirming the actions for the growth of human being.
