Supplier Qualification
As part of its Quality Policy, since 2001 Aperam South America has the Supplier Qualification Program – which aims to monitor and evaluate the performance of suppliers of raw materials, inputs and services.
By monitoring its suppliers, the Company identifies those which are compliant to the specific requirements Aperam South America wants to offer its customers.
That is also a way the Company found to approach its suppliers and to keep with them a relationship that leads to mutual benefits, therefore promoting excellence of the products supplied.
The best suppliers are annually awarded with the "Quality Assurance Certificate”, as a way to recognize their effort for searching the continuous improvement of their products.
